May 7

Today was nice again, finally don't need my winter coat! it was a little chilly, but has since warmed up.

Temperature: 63°F
Dewpoint: 43°F
Humidity: 49%
Pressure: 1018.2 mb
Wind: calm

As you can see we are in for some nice weather. High pressure systems abound, for today and tomorrow at least, we can expect nice sunny weather and warm temperatures. That low over colorado may swoop by and give us some precipitation later in the week possibly around Thursday; I'd like to venture that the warm air from the maritime tropical airmass near Florida will likely create thunderstorms as that low pressure area follows the jetstream up toward Wisconsin.

Here you can see the low pressure system over the east coast is weak but forming a light cyclone. The water vapor is forming that distinct comma shape.
