April 20 Sprinter

So I was at work today engaging in small talk with the customers and a lady said to me that Wisconsin has a new season: Sprinter - which is Spring and Winter. She said, when its nice out (like today) its Spring, and when its gross out (like thursday) its Winter. I thought it was hilarious.

Anyway, today is nice, we have beautiful clear blue skies and decent temperatures.

Temperature: 43°F
Dewpoint: 12°F
Humidity: 29%
Pressure: 1025.7 mb
Wind: NNW 4mph

In today's surface map you can see the high pressure system that is giving us this nice weather. It may continue into tomorrow, but likely we will be affected by the Alberta clipper low pressure system forming in the west.
The Alberta clipper will likely follow this jetstream pathway to our location, mixing again with warmer maritime air from the south and bringing a cold continental polar airmass with it, possibly creating cold temperatures rain, and hopefully not, snow.
Here you can see the moisture developing in the west. As well as the remnants of the previous system on the east coast.
